Oil load, line configuration, etc. will impact how much flush is needed. Since the valve orifice on this container is larger than the 4300-89 valve that is used with the 1 and 2 pound canisters, a shorter flush time is recommended.
• Up to 1/2˝ tubing: Use a 7-10 second burst of Rx11-flush through each line for every 50 feet.
• Up to 7/8˝ tubing: Use a 20-30 second burst of Rx11-flush through each line for every 50 feet.
Either inject additional Rx11-flush or make required repairs. Pull vacuum to boil off any remaining flush.
ADDITIONAL TIPS:
1. If any flush remains in canister, it can be saved for future flushing. If local regulations permit, recycle this canister.
2. For extra protection, charge system with Rx-Acid Scavenger® (4301-02) as insurance to protect against acid contamination.
3. See application bulletin 3-112 for additional details. Use only the appropriate refrigerant, proper recovery equipment, component parts, tools and lubricants as established in the industry and as listed in this service bulletin.
